Gen Z is prone to mental health issues such as anxiety and social pressure, thus encouraging the search for psychological well-being. One factor that influences this is how they present themselves on social media. On Instagram, many Gen Z create second accounts to express themselves more authentically, different from the ideal image on their main account. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between online self-presentation and psychological well-being. This study used a quantitative correlational method with 388 Gen Z participants using second Instagram accounts. This study used the Psychological Well-Being Scale instrument from Ryff to measure psychological well-being, but to measure online self-presentation using the Self-Presentation on Facebook Questionnaire from Michikyan et al. The results of the study used Spearman's rho analysis which showed a significant positive correlation between online self-presentation and psychological well-being in Gen Z users of second Instagram accounts.
