Field leaders play a strategic role in shaping and influencing employees’ perceptions of occupational accident risks during task execution. This study aims to examine the effect of Safety Leadership on the risk perception of field employees at PT A. The research employs a quantitative approach using non-linear regression analysis based on a quadratic model, with 108 field employees selected as respondents through purposive sampling. The analysis results indicate a highly significant effect (p < 0.001) between Safety Leadership and risk perception, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.424, suggesting that leadership accounts for 42.4% of the variance in employees’ risk perception. The main finding reveals a non-linear relationship between the two variables, in which higher levels of leadership quality produce increasingly greater impacts on risk perception. In conclusion, Safety Leadership is a critical factor that contributes to enhancing the risk perception of field employees. These findings highlight the importance of effective leadership practices in promoting workplace safety awareness overall.
